Miley Cyrus couldn’t stop gushing about Robert Pattinson after meeting him at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, held yesterday in Los Angeles.

Cyrus told Teen Vogue earlier this year that she wasn’t a fan of the Twilight hunk. “Girls aren’t really in love with Rob; they’re in love with ['Twilight' hero] Edward,” Cyrus said.

The Hannah Montana star apologized to Pattinson and his milllions of fans via her Twitter and proclaimed she, too, thought he was cute:

“Gave a hug to Rob Pattinson today. Ok girls I get it now. So cute. Sorry ‘Robby’ bout all my bashing in my past ”
