All your “Twilight” colleagues said that you were in love with Edward after reading the books. In love with a vampire that abstains from sex before marriage. What do you think of that?
I think that Edward’s afraid of sex (laughs). No, I kind of understand his point of view, because the stage in which you are not sure of yourselves in a relationship is the most exciting. Maybe I’m old fashioned in this respect. There shouldn’t be rules for love. Some couples meet in a bar, sleep with each other the same evening and live happily ever after.

With Twilight: Eclipse closing in on what box office watchers say will surely be a $200+ million weekend, why have the faces of Summit Entertainment’s executives taken on such a deathly pallor?

Ever since the first Twilight installment, people have been speculating that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart aren’t just playing a couple on-screen, though they have yet to fully admit to it.

Good points. Though I wouldn’t think that Eclipse would stoop that low for publicity — after all, it’s breaking records — it’s also Hollywood. When have we ever known it to have a low?

There is certainly someone up there who is very pleased with the young stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. Otherwise, it is not easy for the relatively newcomers to position themselves on the top!

That includes Summit Entertainment too who might be thanking their stars for the record popularity of their latest film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse which hit the theatres on 30th June 2010.

Robert Pattinson said he had been called Taylor Lautner a lot of times despite the fact that they are two totally different persons.

It’s weird to get confused between Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner: Robert Pattinson is known for having messy hair while Taylor Lautner is known to be a muscle man.

“I have been called Taylor Lautner a few time which I’m quite happy about. You only have to look at us to see how funny that is but it’s nice to pretend I might be hiding a Taylor six-pack under my shirt,” Robert Pattinson said.
